Paul A. Weiss, D.D.S.

Dr. Paul A. Weiss has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Williamsville, NY and teaching Pediatric Dentistry at SUNY Buffalo since 1989. His expertise is in the dental care of infants, children and teenagers, just as pediatricians specialize in their medical care. The specialty of Pediatric Dentistry requires two additional years of postgraduate dental education following dental school.

Dr. Weiss grew up in the Kenmore area and graduated from Kenmore East High School. He then received his Bachelors degree from SUNY at Buffalo in 1983 and his DDS degree from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He then completed his specialty training at Children's Hospital of Buffalo in 1989.

Dr. Weiss is on staff at Kaleida Health's Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo where he is able to provide dental services for very young patients under general anesthesia. Dr. Weiss is an Assistant Clinical Instructor in the Department of Community and Pediatric Dentistry at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Weiss enjoys doing presentations to school or community groups regarding oral health or dentistry as a career. He is an avid sailor in the summertime and races his boat with the Buffalo Harbor Sailing Club. He also has a 13 year old son that he loves spending time with.
